Hi Rob,
heard you talking about ebook readers on the show; whilst I'm sure it doesn't compete with the kindle, I have been using my little nokia e75 phone to read ebooks; initially just using the inbuilt word processing program but later downloaded QReader from here: http://www.qreader.com/ (more info here: http://my-symbian.com/s60v3/software/applications.php?faq=12&fldAuto=52) and it works fine!  But then I'm pretty undemanding in my portable reading needs...just show me the text and let me bookmark it and I'm away.  Some listeners might be interested in a 'budget' alternative so just thought I'd post it!

What a great idea - I am using the Nokia E71, which has the same operating system.  I will give it a go and let you know what I find !
