Prevent copying of CD(ROM)

I intent to put out an e-book in pdf format on CD Rom, and I would like to know how I can make it difficult to be copied.

I would point out that this is an issue that all the major record companies in the world have not yet solved...

Essentially it is very difficult, and you definitely introduce issues of compatibility and distribution.  For example, you put in on a CDROM - however most modern bok readers (Like the Kindle and IPad) do not have CDROM drives - so you have the choice of limiting your distribution, or making it copy-able.

Perhaps a change of your model would work ?  There have been several examples of authors releasing their books one chapter at a time to paid subscribers
