I Received the following message from a friend in Canada, today: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"With Christmas approaching, watch out for this.
It applies to
UPS and FedEx.
It's DEFINITELY for real, not a hoax. The newest virus circulating is the UPS & FedEx Delivery Failure Notice. You will receive an email from UPS Packet Service along with a packet number.
NOTE: The word packet is misspelt.
It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such and such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.
DON'T TRY TO PRINT IT, IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS!
Pass this warning on to all your Friends, at work and at home. This virus has caused Millions of dollars in damage in the past few days".
Snopes Today, confirms that it is real:

UPDATE:
The "from" address is NOT UPS.com and the attachment is a .zip with an .exe in it. DO NOT open the .zip or you'll be infected with a backdoor trojan. The file name is random so you won't likely find it in a Google search.
